Joss Pearce CEng is the Founder of Civility and Chief Developer of its products.

Up until the end of 2020, he worked for a leading automotive engineering consultancy firm. His role was to develop hybrid and electric powertrain controls software for global OEM clients. During his employment he achieved senior engineer status and took responsibility as a team leader.

Joss founded Civility, a technology provider, in 2021 with the mission of tackling online misinformation whilst avoiding censorship. In the same year, mobile application Probe was developed. Probe offers Twitter users an intuitive tool to connect them with reliable news stories. Probe also offers high quality news publishers new and innovative ways to reach their audience.
